Who would want to smell like Play-Doh? Or burnt leaves? Or duct tape? It seems there are a few daring souls out there. The creators of perfumes featuring these and other, equally intriguing, scents are certainly among them.
Perfume smelling of burnt leaves
Another example of the immense power
of childhood scents . Perfumer Christopher Brosius remembered the scent of burning leaves vividly from his youth. He would build drifts of dry leaves, throw them at each other with his friends, and burn them with his father. Brosius's belief that the alcohol used in perfume production was evil also contributed to the creation of perfume. That it was contrary to human nature and detrimental to the condition of the skin. Therefore, he ironically titled his own perfume series "I hate perfume."
Perfume with the scent of Play-Doh
This one, too, takes us back to the scents of childhood. Play-Doh. Who hasn't wanted it? Who hasn't wanted to model tiny, funny characters? This perfume was created to celebrate 50 years of play-doh. Why not get it yourself to spread the unique scent of the play-doh so beloved by children?
The smell of money enclosed in a bottle
Now for something for the grown-ups.
Money . The scent of paper banknotes sparks the imagination. What would we do with them? The perfume's creator, Patrick McCarthy, was inspired by Japanese research. According to research, the scent of money in a room increases employee productivity. The new perfume was also intended to serve this purpose – to motivate work and increase productivity.
Garage-scented perfume
Garage. What's not there? Some old junk, tools. And most importantly – a car. Perfume for all those fascinated by motoring. For those who enjoy the scents of cars, exhaust fumes, tires, grease, and tools.
The scent of petroleum in a bottle
A fragrance that, according to Gerald Ghislain (the creator), is meant to induce ecstasy. He modeled the riches of nature to create a perfume that pays tribute to one of humanity's most precious natural gifts: crude oil.
Perfume that smells like glue and duct tape
Any fans of the scent of duct tape and glue in general? If so, this perfume is for you. Created by a Japanese company under the supervision of the extravagant artist Rei Kawakubo, it's another unusual and bold project from this company.
