Vapor Communications, in collaboration with IFF, has launched the Cyrano Digital Scent Speaker – a personal fragrance device for home use. Cyrano is a digital fragrance and mood-altering device. It's small, portable, and battery-powered. Users can remotely play scent sequences called "mood medleys." Each scent in the medley lasts for several minutes. This is long enough for the user to notice the scent, but short enough to avoid the olfactory fatigue associated with traditional fragrance technologies like candles or air fresheners. Inside the Cyrano there is a replaceable insert with a palette of up to 12 different fragrances, specially created by International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. Mini-sanctuary for personal use Users of this mini diffuser can place it in their car's coffee maker, on their desk, on a bedside table, or anywhere else they personally spend time and work. The dedicated oNotes app plays a sequence of scents. You can also create your own mood compilations and share them with friends on social media.
