- Cold Diffusion Technology – Why Is It So Effective?
There are various methods for scenting. To date, the most effective and cutting-edge method is cold diffusion technology. Devices based on this system produce a micro-mist that combines with air molecules to distribute the appropriate amount of fragrance across both large and small spaces.
What is cold diffusion?
Cold diffusion is a process in which a liquid fragrance (
essential oil ) is crushed into tiny particles, known as micromists. Their size is less than 1 micrometer, meaning they are 50 times smaller than deodorant particles. They are lightweight, and pressure forces them out of the container. These micromists disperse easily and rapidly into the air. They linger in the air much longer than with heating or a fan. The micromist descends in a vacuum at a speed of 1 meter per 12 hours, which is why the fragrance circulates in the air for so long. Cold diffusion preserves the valuable properties of essential oils because it does not interfere with their structure.
Why is cold diffusion so effective?
Cold diffusion technology doesn't compromise the consistency and quality of the fragrance, preserving the valuable properties of essential oils. This isn't possible with vaporization or heating methods. Fragrance sprayed using cold diffusion is of the highest quality, regardless of how much fragrance is used. Microdroplets don't settle on surfaces (furniture or floors) because they slowly evaporate into the air. Devices plugged into electrical outlets heat up quickly, the fragrance evaporates faster, and it stops lingering on larger surfaces. Battery-powered devices aren't any better – the aroma fades over time, and we may not be aware that the batteries need replacing. The particle size of these devices is visible to the naked eye. Their size causes them to immediately fall onto surfaces, limiting the spread of the fragrance. Cold diffusion atomizers don't present these problems. More importantly, they are more economical. The dosage of fragrance blends can be precisely determined.
How does cold diffusion technology apply to commercial spaces ?
There are various aromatization methods. Some are less effective, others more.
Cold air diffusion is undoubtedly the most effective. It offers numerous benefits. Microparticles ensure effective aromatization of both small and large areas, as cold air diffusion devices take into account the volume of the room. Fragrance particles easily combine with air molecules, linger in the air for a long time, and spread to surfaces of all sizes. This technology is incredibly efficient. There's no need to remember to turn the device on and off. Diffusers are equipped with special software that allows you to schedule various operating cycles, fragrance breaks, and fragrance intensity. The devices can be connected to ventilation and air conditioning systems and adapted to office, boutique, or shopping center environments.
