The Las Vegas signature scent is a unique tool for promoting the city. The idea was conceived by the City of Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Airport. One scent encompasses everything the city is known for. The Fragrance Marketing Institute was responsible for creating the fragrance.

According to Harald H. Vogt, founder of the Institute, scent is the perfect medium to capture and spread the soul of a city. The scent of Las Vegas defines a world-class brand and adds a whole new dimension to it. Imagine landing at the airport. Just by smelling it, you know what city you've arrived in.
