The Purefresh seat uses a built-in fan to remove unpleasant odors, which neutralizes odors by passing them through a carbon filter. It's also equipped with scented cartridges. You can choose from a garden waterfall scent, soft and fresh laundry, or avocado spa scent. Both filters and cartridges can be replaced without removing the toilet seat. The carbon filter lasts about six months, while the scented cartridges last about a month. The seat is powered by two batteries (D), which also drain after about six months. As if that weren't enough, the seat features LED lights to make using the toilet at night easier. It also features shock absorbers for added stability and to prevent slippage. Kudos to the creators!
