Delta, United Continental Holdings, Turkish Airlines, and Air Canada are among the pioneers in combining their signature fragrances with traveler relaxation. Lavender and chamomile create a calming atmosphere on board. "Calm" wafts throughout the cabins and bathrooms. The scent permeates hot towels distributed in premium class. Orange and sandal United Continental business card United has created a fragrance called "Landing." It's a blend of orange peel, sandalwood, cedar, and leather. Some people aren't a fan of spraying fragrances during flights, so United handles it with caution and moderation. It's not a lifestyle or a fashion brand. That's why these individual in-flight fragrances aren't bottled and sold. Not yet. Discreet fragrances guarantee flight bookings The companies don't plan to introduce fragrance bottles to the retail market. However, they see commercial value in them. Scent promotes a more relaxing atmosphere. Positive experiences lead to specific preferences, which in turn can lead to increased bookings with a specific carrier. Airlines prioritize subtlety, so those sensitive to scents don't have to change their preferences and switch to competing airlines.
