- Earn guest loyalty and affection with fragrance
It's been proven that inhaling a wonderful scent significantly enhances the perception of a hotel and its brand. The right scent positively impacts the guest experience. The right aroma determines whether a visitor will return and recommend the hotel to others. By diffusing fragrance, you create a lasting and meaningful connection with your guests.
A guest demands. They want to feel special. They want to be welcomed from the very first moment they step into a hotel. Guests are discerning. They immediately scan the décor, furnishings, floral arrangements, and interior lighting. Guests form opinions based on even the smallest details. And they expect. You must meet these expectations. You must make a stunning first impression. After all, you want to fulfill your guest's desires. You ask, how?
Scent comes to the rescue.
Fragrancing hotel interiors
You'll provide guests with a positive experience, create a pleasant and promising atmosphere, and gain an advantage over your competitors. All thanks to interior fragrance. In 2013,
The Journal of Global Business Management reported that the keys to profit in the leisure industry are customer loyalty, brand image, and a distinctive accent.
Smell – a distinctive accent
For you, that distinctive accent could be scent. Why should you harness the power of scent? Scent improves:
- the image of your brand in the eyes of guests,
- the quality of your guests' experience,
- customer memory of your brand – guests are more likely to stay with you,
- ratings given to the hotel by your guests.
Emotional connection
Scent creates a strong connection between a hotel and its guests. Visitors stay longer and want to return – data shows that scent fosters customer loyalty.
Pleasure and comfort
The presence of scent enhances customer perceptions. It promotes well-being. Guests perceive their stay as better and more enjoyable.
A model example
The management of Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, one of Asia's largest and most prestigious hotel companies, was dissatisfied with previous attempts at perfuming hotel lobbies. The problems were the intensity of the fragrances, the lack of uniformity in the aerosols, and the residue left by the essential oils. A company was hired to equip the hotel with micro-droplet technology. Safe, effortless, and dispensing a consistent scent everywhere, it never leaves a residue. Devices dispensing the sweet scent of jasmine were installed in the lobbies. The owners were delighted with the results. The program, launched in the first locations, proved so successful that Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces plans to expand
the fragrance program to 93 hotels worldwide.
